Similarly, the locations were selected correctly and were relevant to Alexis and the film itself. We shot our film at numerous different locations such as: Ray Park, CANDI, Woodford and at Arthur’s house. Choosing a college was one of the easiest locations to pick out as our film has a strong correlation with Spider-Man and we took in the ideology of previous Spider-Man films where Tobey Maguire (Peter Parker) would be seen in college as he would be similarly portrayed as a teenager super-hero. Additonally, Ray Park and Woodford were appropriately chosen by Arthur as we do tend to see teenagers in relationships go for walks at the park and we wanted to paint a perfect picture where he is being represented as a typical teenager but at the same time, an unexpected super-hero which may appeal to kids in an inspirational way as it’s not often that a typical teenager turns out to be a super-hero. Arthur’s house fitted well with the narrative of the story as well as the character’s agenda as we were able to capture his interests and hobbies in that opening scene in Arthur’s bedroom. We shot a close up of the Alexis’ interests like the Spider-Man toy on the floor to appeal to the kids as they themselves would be interested in toys and action figures.
