Apex-Arachnid aimed to target teenagers and kids as the main audience whilst the wider audience seemed to be adults - supposedly parents. We thought that by targeting teenagers and kids who are the most common admirers of super-hero films would be an exceptional way to open up and launch the first movie for a super-hero who is basically unknown. We wanted to create something unique, other than the usual super-hero ideology where the hero encounters a villain and emerges as the undisputed winner by the end so instead we took a step back and wanted to focus on the process of becoming a super-hero and wanting to do good rather than being forced to do good in an attempt to destroy a villian and restore equillibrium.
